Due to the ongoing remediation work taking place in the High School Gym, the 21st annual Cindy Brady Tournament scheduled for 12/27 and 12/28 will be moved to a different venue.
The 12/29 and 12/30 Allen Gutterson Boys Basketball Tournament is hopeful to remain at HCS.
The Cindy Brady Tournament schedule of 12/27 and 12/28 times and teams will remain the same, but will now be played at Lisbon Central School. The Lisbon District has graciously offered to host the 18th annual Cindy Brady Girls Basketball Tournament. The Athletic Department, coaches and players are grateful that the tournament will continue as scheduled and appreciate that Lisbon Central will host the event. This Tournament has been an ongoing fundraiser for the HCS Girls Varsity Club and due to any inconvenience that this may have caused, the entrance fee has been adjusted to $2 for adults and free for children and students.
We are optimistic and hopeful the work will be completed on time for the 30th Annual Allen Gutterson Boys Basketball Tournament, and the Heuvelton Central High School Gym will be back online for 12/29 and 12/30. As a backup venue, Lisbon Central School has also graciously offered to host if needed. A huge shout out goes out to our Lisbon District neighbors, and also to Athletic Director Erica Backus for helping with the transition.
