— Heuvelton Drama Club Brings “Grease” to the Stage in November—

HEUVELTON, NY —

The Heuvelton Central School District’s ENCORE Drama Club is revving up for an unforgettable production of the beloved musical Grease. With its iconic soundtrack and timeless charm, Grease promises to be a crowd-pleaser for audiences of all ages.

Chosen for its upbeat spirit and ensemble-friendly cast, Grease offers a dynamic platform for student performers to shine. This version of the show has been tailored to be family friendly, with certain elements toned down to ensure it is appropriate for all viewers. The story emphasizes themes of self-discovery, inclusion, and confidence that resonate deeply with today’s youth.

The production features a live pit orchestra composed of professional musicians, conducted by Abby DeCastro. Amanda Herber lends her creative expertise as choreographer, while Lauren Baldwin leads the production as director. Together, they’ve crafted a show that’s as polished as it is passionate.

This year’s production is especially exciting for three senior performers who will grace the stage in leading roles. Hailee Jackson stars as Sandy in her thirteenth musical performance. Ayden Simmons will take on the role of Danny in his fourth production. Corbin Murray rounds out the senior trio as Roger in his first performance with the drama club.
